Customer Video Testimonial Contest
As you know, we are a relatively new home and loft developer in the Salt Lake region and would like other prospective buyers to get a real sense of what it’s like living in one of our new homes or downtown lofts…who better to tell them than YOU!
Your video doesn’t have to be fancy or long (just say what you want to say) it can be anywhere from 45 seconds to 5 minutes! We just want to get your personal opinion on how you like your new home so that we can share your experience with other prospective home buyers on our website.
Simply whip out your smartphone camera or camcorder, shoot a quick testimonial (you can shoot it on your front porch, in your backyard, on your loft balcony, in your living room, or do a tour/walkthrough to show off some of your décor and features in your home), and then upload your video to YouTube and send us the link.
Some Questions to Consider Addressing in Your Video:
- Do you love your new home?
- Would you recommend a ClearWater Home to a friend?
- Are there any particular features of the home that you absolutely love?
- What has your living experience been like?
- What do you think about the location/community?
- How do you like the panoramic windows and taller ceilings?
Sample Ideas for Your Video:
- A short tour/walkthrough of your home talking about what you like about it
- You and your family on the front porch (or another fixed location) talking about your new home
- Show off a particular room, feature, or decoration that you did
- It can be just you or the whole family sharing your thoughts
Guidelines
- Must be a “video” testimonial with the opinions of the homeowners
- Must have good enough quality for us to share on our website (e.g., make sure to speak at an audible level so viewers can hear you fine, have enough light around so it isn’t too dark, try to prevent any annoying background noise or static, etc.)
- Video Length: minimum = 45 seconds, max = 5 min (plus or minus some seconds!)
- Must upload your video to YouTube so you can share the link with us (this is very easy to do, you can download the YouTube smartphone app and upload straight from your phone if you want, you can also email or call us for help with this). The reason for this is because video files are usually too large to share via email.
- Email us the link to your video with your full name and contact information. YouTube will provide you with the link to your video after you upload it. Send your email to [email protected] with your subject line titled: MY VIDEO TESTIMONIAL
What About Editing My Video?
If you do not have any editing apps or you do not know how to edit your video, you can still submit your video to us and we can cut out the “mess ups” if need be. Also, if you end up having multiple video “clips” and do not know how to join them together into one, you can upload your multiple video files to YouTube and simply send us the links to all your video clips in your email. We can join them together and cut out certain parts if needed.
There are many free apps for editing videos on your Android, iPhone, or Windows phone. Just go to your phone’s app marketplace and search “video editing app” to find them.
