Welcome BPL resident! Thank you for your interest in our exclusive, resident-only video contest.
Overview
The details for this contest are pretty straightforward. All you have to do is shoot a short 30-60 second video that best captures the “vibe” of Broadway Park Lofts and the surrounding downtown neighborhood. Your video doesn’t have to have any fancy pants editing or anything like that; however, this is a contest, so if you want to win, make sure to put some creativity and effort into it!
Feel free to talk about or showcase whatever you think makes BPL unique. This could include your favorite features inside your loft, your decor, the residents (your neighbors), the local atmosphere, your favorite local bars/restaurants, etc.
Why
The plan is to share your video (and others) on our website with prospective future BPL residents, so if you want to attract like-minded neighbors who will fit right in with the existing community, be as authentic as you can in the way you portray the BPL lifestyle. Tell a story!

1st Place: $250 cash
2nd Place: $50 gift card of your choosing
3rd Place: $25 gift card of your choosing
How Do I Submit My Video?
Your video must be shared with us via DropBox using the email address [email protected]. If you’re not familiar with DropBox, it’s very easy to use and you can create a free account in a few minutes…
1. Create your DropBox account at www.dropbox.com (if you don’t already have an account).
2. Create a new folder in your account called “My BPL Video” and upload your video file to that folder.
3. Right-click the folder and click “Invite to Folder” from the selection, then send the invite to [email protected] and put your name and contact info in the message box. That’s it!
How Will the Winners Be Selected?
After the contest deadline, we will review all submissions and select what we think are the best videos based on quality and creativity. The winners will be contacted via email with details on how to claim their prize. The winners will also be announced to all participants of the contest via email.
What About Editing My Video?
You shouldn’t need to do much editing if at all; however, if you do need to make some edits, there are many free apps for editing videos on your Android, iPhone, or Windows phone. Just go to your phone’s app marketplace and search “video editing app” to find them. There are also many free video editing tools for your desktop which you can find by doing a Google search for “free video editing software” or similar.
Deadline
The deadline to submit your video is Monday, July 21, 2014.
We will respond to everyone within 1 week of the deadline and announce the winners!
